Ulises “N” T, alias “Delta 1,” an alleged leader of the La Línea criminal group, was executed along with two Municipal Police officers who were guarding him in the Jardines de Aragón neighborhood in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. He is identified as a criminal leader dedicated to human trafficking to the United States.
“Delta 1” was investigated by the Attorney General’s Office, the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection, the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime, and the Secretariat of National Defense.
Who was “Delta 1”? The leader of La Línea executed in Ciudad Juárez
Although his full identity hasn’t been confirmed by authorities, investigative agents identify him as one of the leaders of La Línea, the armed wing of the Juárez Cartel. This criminal organization is known for its brutality and its control over drug trafficking, extortion, and other high-impact crimes in the border region.
It is linked to a border tunnel discovered in January. This underground engineering project connected Ciudad Juárez with El Paso, Texas, passing beneath the Rio Grande and the wall. This type of infrastructure is primarily used for trafficking large quantities of drugs.
Additionally, authorities have revealed that “Delta 1” owned several bars in the city. These establishments are often used by organized crime groups to launder money, plan operations, or as meeting points.
One of the issues that most draws authorities’ attention is the two bodyguards who were also executed along with “Delta 1,” as it was reported that they were off-duty but active municipal police officers.
This raises the question of why two law enforcement officers were protecting a criminal leader on their day off. For his part, the mayor of Ciudad Juárez stated that they are already investigating the actions of these municipal officers, as they were carrying weapons off duty and were also protesting a criminal.

If the Judges, Police, politicians, and armed forces weren’t so corrupt cartels in Mexico would be a small problem.
If there was not a demand for dope, problem would almost be obsolete. If people did not lack resilience, were confident, were not soft, they would not resort to dope to fulfill their void.
Etc etc.
Even if there was zero corruption in Mexico, there would still be massive demand for drugs in the US.
Cartels (as they are in their current form) would leverage different strategies, organizational hierarchies with an emphasis on secrecy and avoiding interactions/direct conflict with government institutions.
