The 50 Book Audible Update

A quick update on the audiobook.

Today I listened to the final narrator auditions for The 50 Most Influential Mexican Narcos, made my decision, and signed the contract.

My original plan was to narrate the book myself. After hearing the auditions, it became clear that the story deserved a professional voice. The narrator I selected brings the right tone and pacing to the material, so I made the call. I’m including a short clip from his audition so you can hear why I chose him.

The audiobook will come in at just under 8 hours. I’ll keep everyone updated as production moves forward and let you know the moment it’s ready.
