Ramiro Ulises ‘N’, alias “Comandante Galindo”—identified as an alleged regional leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG)—was arrested in Malinalco pursuant to an arrest warrant for express kidnapping with the intent of extortion.
He is currently under investigation for his probable involvement in various high-impact crimes across municipalities in the eastern part of the state. He had relocated to Malinalco in an attempt to evade authorities, but was ultimately captured.
The arrest was carried out following investigative efforts that successfully pinpointed his location within the municipality of Malinalco. According to the inquiries, the detainee had changed his place of residence—moving from the eastern region of the State of Mexico—specifically to avoid detection.
Once his whereabouts were confirmed, a coordinated operation involving both federal and state authorities was launched. The judicial warrant was executed, and the accused was transferred to a correctional facility, where he was placed at the disposal of a judge.
**Accusations of Kidnapping and Extortion**
The case leading to his arrest dates back to 2025; the investigation indicates that the victim was abducted by this individual and several other armed accomplices, who subsequently transported the victim to a different location.
At that location, the individuals involved allegedly demanded that the victim participate in the transport of narcotics toward the northern part of the country. Furthermore, they threatened to take the victim’s life—as well as the lives of their family members—should they refuse to comply.
**Operations in Eastern Edomex**
Investigative findings identify him as the alleged leader of a cell known as “Operativa Delta,” which maintains a presence in municipalities such as San Martín de las Pirámides, Teotihuacán, Temascalapa, and Otumba. In this region, he is linked to criminal activities including fuel theft, narcotics trafficking, and kidnapping.
He is also under investigation for other offenses, including homicide, human trafficking, and money laundering. Authorities are currently pursuing various lines of inquiry regarding his potential involvement in these criminal acts. Following his arrest, Ramiro Ulises ‘N’ was admitted to a Penitentiary and Social Reintegration Center; the judicial authority will determine his legal status during the subsequent stages of the proceedings.
