A new video released by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) shows 8 armed men during daylight hours in the state of Veracruz.
Within their broadcast, a threat goes out to citizens who are selling other people’s drugs in the cachimbas.
The peculiar phrase ‘cachimbas’ used here is slang for rest areas in Mexico. With this being said, what needs to be understood by everyone is that these rest stops aren’t official areas set up by the government.
A cachimba is normally known as a place where food is sold, auto repairs are made, and sex workers offer their services for drivers passing through the area. Other illicit things found in the cachimbas are off label drugs and stolen petroleum.
We are the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and this message goes out to the personnel of the ‘cachimbas’.
For eery proprietor and business owner here who is selling other peoples drugs. Starting today I’m going to send out my men so that you guys report to me and sell our drugs.
This specifically goes out to the towns of Yanga, Cuitláhuac, motorists on Federal Highway 150D, and its surrounding areas.
Whoever is doing the right thing is welcomed here. But for those who are doing shady shit I’ll be cutting you up into pieces and burning down your business.

Not sure these guys are CJNG. wearing a blue long shirt? When they always tend to have very militarized men on their clips……
