Unofficial reports have emerged regarding the alleged arrest of an individual known as “El 01” (Adolfo) in the San Miguel de Cruces region, located in the municipality of San Dimas, Durango, during a reported operation by the National Guard.
Information began circulating via social media and citizen reports, suggesting that the individual was taken into custody by federal security forces. A photograph—purportedly showing an official arrest—has also been shared, though its authenticity and the circumstances under which it was taken remain unverified.
According to accounts circulating in the region, the man identified as Adolfo has been linked to alleged criminal activities in the mountainous areas of Durango—specifically within the municipality of San Dimas—where local residents have reported security issues that are negatively impacting their economic activities.
Anonymous allegations include claims of extortion targeting cattle ranchers, *ejidatarios* (communal landholders) involved in forestry, and local business owners, alongside reports of threats and other potential offenses. Some accounts also link him to a criminal organization operating in the region; however, these accusations have not been confirmed by the relevant authorities.
Despite the circulation of the photograph and accounts of the alleged operation, no official information has been released by the National Guard, the Secretariat of National Defense (SEDENA), or other federal security agencies to confirm whether an arrest actually took place or to clarify the circumstances surrounding it.
Consequently, the reported capture of the individual known as “El 01” remains unofficial and subject to verification. It is expected that federal authorities will issue a statement to either confirm or refute these reports and clarify the legal status of the individual in question.
