A man who was allegedly identified as a brother of Amado Carrillo Fuentes, the Lord of the Skies, died early this morning after allegedly being run over when he was changing a tire on the vehicle he was driving on the highway that connects El Limoncito to 5 de Mayo, in Navolato.
According to the information, the incident occurred during the first minutes of Tuesday when the deceased was changing the tire of a Chevrolet Spark car on the north-south lane of the aforementioned road when he was hit by an unknown vehicle, the driver fled the scene.
The deceased was thrust towards his vehicle suffering fractures and wounds in different parts of his body, which caused his death instantly.
The vehicle was left with dents on the driver’s side of the door.
Authorities located a tire iron and a hydraulic jack at the scene.
Initially it had been reported that a person had been shot to death, however upon arrival the authorities confirmed that it was a traffic accident.
