Several official reports confirm the clashes and the suspension of activities in schools this morning.
A series of violent events took place this morning in Culiacán, which has generated panic among citizens and the suspension of activities.
The Secretariat of Public Security confirmed that in the central and eastern areas of the city there have been shootings and operations by authorities.
A white luxury GMC vehicle was abandoned between Francisco I. Madero and Aquiles Serdán streets in the city of Culiacán in which it is presumed that armed individuals were driving.
At the same time, the Ministry of Health stated that they have located another black pickup truck, both of which were allegedly involved in a confrontation and shootings at approximately 5:20 am.
Abandoned vehicle
The vehicle was found punctured and with bullet impacts, it is presumed that it was being driven by armed individuals who fled in another vehicle after it became inoperable because of the punctured tires.
The Secretariat of Security is currently on patrol in the city of Culiacán, with the objective of locating the sectors and points of conflict.
Public transportation suspended
All public transport services have been suspende as a preventive measure in the face of the violence.
