A trained canine alerted its handlers to a particular shipment containing four sacks, ostensibly labeled as food preservatives. However, upon closer examination, authorities found a white, granulated substance, exhibiting characteristics similar to Manitol — a compound often utilized in illegal substance manufacturing. The total weight of this illicit material was around 100 kilograms.
Marked for a destination in Mexicali, Baja California, the confiscated material was promptly turned over to the Agency of the Federal Public Ministry for further investigation. This action underscores the vigilance and dedication of the GN in disrupting the operations of those involved in illegal activities.
