TOPOLOBAMPO._ Personnel from the Eighth Naval Zone, in coordination with the Federal Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and the State Public Security Secretariat of Sinaloa (SSPE), located and destroyed a poppy plantation, four marijuana plantations, and one marijuana drying facility in the town of Agua Caliente de Cebada in Sinaloa de Leyva.”
The marijuana fields contained approximately 255,000 (two hundred and fifty-five thousand) plants, covering an approximate area of 15,466 square meters, with an estimated weight of 62,000 (sixty-two thousand) kilograms. Once the corresponding investigation file was completed, the authorities proceeded to their destruction in the presence of the competent authorities.
