“Breaking news: The National Guard has made a major bust in their efforts to combat drug trafficking. A whopping 300 liters of a chemical precursor used for the production of synthetic drugs was discovered in Mazatlán. The substance was cleverly hidden in drums labeled as fertilizer, but thanks to the keen detection skills of a police dog, the scheme was exposed.
The team, with prior authorization, entered a mail and package company at the Mazatlán Bus Station and identified a suspicious shipment consisting of 15 drums. Upon further inspection, it was confirmed that the containers were in fact carrying a dark brown liquid with all the tell-tale signs of a chemical precursor.
The National Guard wasted no time in securing the substance and turning it over to the Federal Public Prosecutor’s office for investigation. This successful operation is just one example of their dedication to protecting the citizens and eradicating the transport of harmful substances.
