Dorian Trinidad León Angulo, better known as ‘El Dorian’, was a drug trafficker who belonged to the Sinaloa Cartel, where he was one of the most important figures until his arrest in the year 2009.
León Angulo was surprised by police officers on September 23rd of the mentioned year, after he was captured along with four other people, with whom he was inside a small clandestine laboratory.
It was thus that Dorian Trinidad was placed at the disposal of the authorities, who took him to the Aguaruto Prison in Culiacán, where he was accused of crimes against public health, as well as being linked to the dangerous Sinaloa criminal organization.
It’s better if they don’t bother me, so they can figure things out and it’s best if they leave me alone. If they don’t know me, they should ask first and if not, well I’m telling them now. I’m leaving through the door and leaving the bars, because I am not one to hide in shadows, so they better get it straight. By the door, El Dorian has slipped away,” the topic begins by request of the former member of the Sinaloa Cartel.

Two years after being imprisoned, in pure Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán style in 2001, ‘El Dorian’ escaped from the state rehabilitation center through the front door. However, his days of freedom did not last long and ended tragically after a fatal accident while traveling in his red car.
The escape was carried out on January 2, 2011, just on a Sunday, that is why in this excerpt it talks about that day of the week, as every Monday celebrates having managed to escape from the Aguaruto prison in Culiacán, Sinaloa, specifically from module 5.
With such an unexpected response, I left on module five, on Monday I celebrate every time I remember that Sunday has passed,” continues the song performed by the ‘King of Hearts’.

After his escape, months later, on December 17th, 2011, the main character of the narco ballad lost his life after suffering a car accident in the city of Culiacan, thus bringing an end to his criminal career.
“Without much violence, I left the gates for them, because I am not one for shadows, so they may find themselves, through the mere door, El Dorian has already left them behind,” concludes the theme by Ariel Camacho.
If that had not happened, today he would have been one of the most important personalities in the Sinaloa criminal organization, as this event made him gain notoriety in the narco culture.
