Good evening, gentlemen. That’s how it starts. Not with a narco banner, or an execution video, or a convoy of armored pickups screaming through Culiacán. It starts with a camera rolling on a dirt clearing at night, somewhere in Mexico, and a masked man reading from a script. Behind him? An army.
A new video circulating online confirms what many refused to believe: the long-rumored alliance between the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) and “La Chapiza” has officially been declared. In the video, roughly 75 uniformed sicarios chant their allegiance to “Mr. Mencho and Mr. Iván” as two blindfolded captives kneel at their feet. There is reason to believe this video was filmed in or near Mazatlán. This is not just a show of force; it’s a declaration of war. The purge, as they say, has begun.
The footage opens with a floodlight and a message. “To all the turncoats who pigged out… did you really think this was over?” the spokesman taunts. A crowd of armed men flanks him, faces covered, guns up. Their vests match. Their movements are rehearsed. Some wear tactical helmets. Others, bandanas or balaclavas. But what unites them is what they say next:
“We are the absolute mob for Mr. Mencho and Mr. Iván.”
This isn’t the first time cartels have issued threats on camera. But this one’s different. For years, CJNG and the Chapitos were enemies. Rivals in turf wars, bitter after Mencho’s men kidnapped two of Chapo’s sons in Puerto Vallarta. Blood was spilled. Lines were drawn. But now, with the Chapitos at war with the Zambada faction, the rules have changed.
The alliance was born out of necessity. With internal fractures weakening the Sinaloa Cartel from within, Iván Archivaldo turned to an unlikely partner: Mencho. The tradeoff? Territory for backup. A deal between two criminal empires that couldn’t afford to keep bleeding. And now, that deal is dressed in camo, holding ARs, chanting in unison, ready to burn the rest down.
Mica’s Analysis
This video is the alliance’s debut album. Their official tour announcement. And like any tour, it starts with a message to the fans and a warning to the critics. “We’re together now. Get ready.”
The purge they speak of isn’t metaphor. It means blood. Expect targeted killings. Settling scores. Cleaning house. The Chapitos want to crush the Zambadas. Mencho wants revenge for the past. Together, they want control. If you’re a cop, a rival, or a traitor? You’re on the list.
CJNG brings shock-and-awe. The Chapitos bring control of northern plazas. Combine that, and you get a force with reach from Guadalajara to Nogales. And they’re done hiding it.

This video is also a jab at the government. A way to say, “We run this.” They don’t need a press release. Just a camera, a script, and a few dozen men willing to die for the cause. The aesthetics aren’t accidental. They’re militarized, stylized, and brutal. It’s cartel propaganda 2.0.
One more thing to consider: the pig reference – “se marranearon” – isn’t random. In narco slang, marrano (pig) is often used to describe someone who flipped. But in this case, it’s more specific. The Chapitos and their supporters use marranos as a slur for the Zambada faction, Mayiza. The message is layered: it’s personal.
And for the record? I was posting about this alliance back in September 2024. Some people laughed. Some said it was fake. Here we are.

“Good evening, gentlemen. This communique is to let all the turncoats who pigged out know, did you really think this was over? Well, you were wrong. This is just getting started. And the rumors are true. Let it be known that the alliance between the Jalisco New Generation Cartel and La Chapiza is confirmed. The purge has begun. We are the absolute mob for Mr. Mencho and Mr. Ivan!”
Sicarios (in unison):
“We are the absolute mob for Mr. Mencho and Mr. Ivan!”
You can hear it in the echo of that chant: “We are the absolute mob for Mr. Mencho and Mr. Iván.” This isn’t just cartel unity. It’s cartel evolution. And if the purge has truly begun, then this video isn’t the story. It’s just the trailer.

What’s going on with the war? I haven’t heard a whole lot about it recently other than the normal beheading. Y’all wrote a month or 2 ago that the Chapitos lost 7 Lt’s. What has Mayito lost? Any territories gained or lost by each faction? I did see an article that Harfuch stated other cartels are getting together to fight Chapitos. What cartels are lining up with Chapitos other than CJNG?Who’s winning or losing or is this just 2 idiots with ego problems?
I hadn’t heard that one, about other cartels getting together to fight Chapitos. To me Ivan allying himself with Jalisco’s is pathetic and reeks of desperation. I mean it’s the same people that kidnapped him and were going to make them cease ro exist, but Mayo saved them. Irony atop of irony.
My understanding was Chapo paid him $2mill plus a bunch of coke. I think the Chapitos are getting desperate too. I think what they did is use his army until it’s depleted then call on CJNG. MF is depleted too. The only people that truly know are them. We just guess and assume. I think it’s 2 idiots with ego issues. Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered and that’s what is happening to both of them.
I read somewhere a couple of weeks ago where there were some text that showed Ivan did escape from that tunnel in Culiacan. In the text he said he has a plan and no one is going to catch him. I have 2 theories to that one. He’s going to go down by bullet from the government or he’s going to take off to a foreign country with his money. That would be me. I’d take my money and go to Cuba.
the real losers are the citizens of sinaloa- CJNG are the new age Zetas. Arturo tried this in his war and it didn’t work well
Mica that video you posted on x

What the heck is going on there!?!?!?
GEN playing with fire. Makes it a easier for US to hit them. Significantly easier to target the GEN. Which is a good thing.
Alliances, military weapons build up, imperialism, violent ideologies and the arrest of Mayo is what’s started the great cartel war of 2025.
