He called himself a whistleblower. A truth-seeker. A digital voice peeling back the layers of Mexico’s narco war. But behind the DMs and the performative outrage, Ocran Leaks wasn’t exposing the truth. He was managing it.
Because when the topic turned to Rancho Izaguirre — the alleged extermination site tied to Jalisco’s military-style tactics — Ocran wasn’t looking for answers. He was building a narrative. And I have the receipts.
In leaked screenshots obtained by Cartel Insider — and verified as direct messages with Ocran Leaks — he’s seen asking for help crafting a video. Not to investigate Rancho Izaguirre, but to rewrite its purpose altogether. Not a training ground for CJNG foot soldiers, he says, but a “capacitación center” — a place for workshops and growth. A rebranding exercise straight out of a narco PR playbook.
It’s not a question. It’s a pitch.
“So the people from Jalisco come out looking good, for real haha.”
That’s not a neutral leak — that’s spin.
And the most dangerous part? He masks it as truth. The messages show someone not just aligned with the Mayiza narrative, but actively trying to launder it through friendly media. He’s not pulling receipts. He’s making the brochure.

“Quería enseñarle a la gente que pues no era un centro de exterminio…”
That’s his opening line. He’s not trying to verify the truth. He’s trying to convince people Rancho Izaguirre wasn’t a cartel killing site — but something softer. Safer. Sanitized.
In his own words, Ocran admits:
“…va a quedar bien la gente de Jalisco pa vrd jaja”
Translation: “So the people from Jalisco come out looking good, for real haha.”
This wasn’t journalism. It was damage control for the same people flooding Mexico with synthetic poison and tactical terror.
Then comes the soft ask — how does NG (National Guard) training work? What gear do they get? What ranks do they hold?
He wasn’t asking out of curiosity — he was writing a script. One that deliberately erased the human cost of what went down at that ranch.
And when challenged, his response? “To make a good video… no lies.”
But by then, the lies were baked in.

Beneath the Surface
Let’s be clear. Ocran Leaks is not a neutral actor. He is very invested into Mayiza winning. After all, how else is Mini Lic going to be the plaza boss of El Dorado instead of a fuck up in prison?
Ocran Leaks hides his appearance while operating with an agenda — pro-Mayiza, anti-Chapitos, and dangerously misleading. His performative neutrality is a façade. His attempts to manipulate public perception through carefully curated videos show a coordinated interest in shaping the narrative favoring the failed Damaso family. Things have changed in favor of the Jalisco partnering with Los Chapitos.

This isn’t the first time fake dissident accounts tried to inject propaganda into the digital bloodstream. But this one came wrapped in activist packaging. That’s the con.
So next time you see a “leak” from Ocran, look closer.
It might not be a revelation.
It might just be a commercial.
Funded in silence. Directed by betrayal. And cut to make Mayiza look like victims instead of what they really are — narco-terrorists in tactical gear.

this is an honest question man, after reading recent articles he could say this about mica

I mean yall are the same two doing the same thing.
It’s sad it’s come to this. I love reading the article you write either way, but what is wrote isn’t wrong,
Hope all is well man. I really do.
Herman,
I think you’re unintentionally overlooking Sol’s contributions — he’s the other half of Cartel Insider. Just look at his last five stories. He writes and shares whatever news he wants, with full independence.
This isn’t a one-voice platform. We both cover what we believe is important. Sometimes that overlaps, sometimes it doesn’t. But Sol doesn’t answer to anyone here — and his track record speaks for itself.
Hey Mica my comment was to the Author of this article.
What is sad about him could honestly 100% be sad about you and the way that you right. It’s the same M.O writing in favor of one cartel.
You might not see if but speaking for myself I see you as a pizza propagandist. And I see him as a Mayo propagandist. I might be wrong but when I read the past couple article it’s how I interpret it. I always log on after a couple bong rips so maybe 🤔im wrong haha
NG means New generation. He is right about that place being a boot camp. Instead of washing out and sent home, they were killed and buried in said boot camp.
I must be missing context but I don’t see anything about loving MF in his question to whoever that is via messenger. NG is not national guard as they are speaking/typing in Spanish and I have never seen anyone abbreviate it as NG. NG stands for Nueva generacion………it makes sense with what he is typing/asking. Why would a mayo enthusist want to talk good about CJNG? I don’t know how it happened but sol and buggs coming back and being a bitch pretty much lead BB to the shit it is now. Not sure why you teamed up with him. Really miss the forums.
tiene toda la razon sr mica.
