A small fire was reported last night at Cavally Antro & Bar in Tijuana, causing minor damage to one of the entrances of the establishment, which was recently flagged by the U.S. Treasury Department.
According to initial reports, the fire occurred around 8:00 p.m. at the bar located in Zona Río, which was closed to the public at the time.

Fire Department personnel confirmed that the fire originated from a container filled with fuel that had been placed at the main entrance. After extinguishing the flames, authorities inspected the rest of the building and determined that the damage was limited to the main door, suggesting the incident may have been intentional based on the evidence found.
In September 2025, the United States government, through the Treasury Department, released a list of companies in Baja California allegedly used for money laundering by the faction of Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada of the Sinaloa Cartel. Cavally Antro & Bar was included on that list. This fire has Sinaloa civil war written all over it.
