Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, better known as “El Mencho” or “El Gallero”, the alleged leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), celebrated his 58th birthday on July 17, 2024. The festivities occurred in Tonaya, Jalisco, coinciding with “Landlord’s Day”.
According to the local newspaper Mural, on July 25, 2024, a video circulated on social media showing members of the American musical group Laberinto congratulating the infamous Michoacan drug lord. “Of course, for a very special person, for the Lord of the Roosters who is a big fan of this humble group that has been around for 37 years […], we are going to start with a small tribute, singing ‘Las Mañanitas’ for ‘The Lord of the Roosters’, in the style of Laberinto,” the band declared in the video.
On stage, a screen displayed a birthday message dedicated to Oseguera Cervantes. Mural also reported that attendees, including those armed with firearms, celebrated by firing shots as musical groups like Puro Grullo performed.

His closest brush with capture occurred on May 1, 2015, when his armed men repelled an operation near Casimiro Castillo, Jalisco, shooting down a Mexican Air Force helicopter.
On October 16, 2018, the U.S. government increased the reward for information, leading to El Mencho’s capture, which was from $5 million to $10 million. Meanwhile, on August 15, 2018, Mexico’s Federal Government, through the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (PGR), offered a reward of up to 30 million pesos for information leading to his arrest.

El Mencho is next on the hit list, and the full power of the Mexican military and orders from the Pentagon will be executed to detain Don Mencho in a capture-or-kill mission before the end of the year. And all of his family and associates and capos and stuff. Even his favorite roosters will be taken from him and chopped to pieces for a stew that is fed to the poor suffering drug addicts he creates with his shitty meth that is full of chemical impurities from P2P poor synthesis and resulting stereo isomers and nothing like the d-methamphetamine that the CDS imports from China.
Man you sound like a total fangirl
