He was detained in the municipality of Centro by authorities from the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection and the Inter-institutional Tactical Response Force; weapons and drugs were seized from him.
As part of ongoing efforts to combat crime and dismantle criminal structures, the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) and the Inter-institutional Tactical Response Force (FIRT Olmeca) detained Blasimiro “N”—alias “El Blas” and/or “El Comandante Blas”—in the municipality of Centro.
Following investigative and intelligence operations conducted by authorities, it was established that Blasimiro “N” had previously served as a state police officer and was allegedly linked to “La Barredora.” This criminal group is tied to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) and was led by “El Abuelo” and/or “El Comandante H”—Hernán Bermúdez Requena—the former head of the Tabasco SSPC, who is currently incarcerated in the Altiplano maximum-security prison.
Furthermore, it was reported that during the police operation, weapons and illicit substances were seized from this suspected member of “La Barredora.”
Based on the investigations, sufficient evidence was gathered to execute the corresponding arrest warrant. Consequently, “El Comandante Blas” was placed at the disposal of the competent authorities, where his legal status will be determined and the necessary proceedings will be carried out to clarify his alleged involvement in the crimes of which he is accused: drug dealing, arms trafficking, and criminal association.
