Durango was supposed to be the safe one. That’s what the state says. That’s what the media repeats. But the people in the city? They’re telling a different story. Durango has long sold itself as an exception — a stronghold of order, where the nightmare happening in Zacatecas or Sinaloa doesn’t dare cross the border. But the city feels off. Robotic. People move like they’re following a script, not living in it. The kind of silence where everyone knows something’s wrong, but no one says it. That illusion just cracked wide open. Most importantly, the people are controlled. Durango feels less like a Mexican state and more like a self-contained regime — something closer to the People’s Republic of China. The government controls the story. Denial is the doctrine.

With visible signs of violence.
Saturday evening. Durango capital. Domingo Arrieta Boulevard—the kind of place where families grab snacks and gossip—becomes a bullet theater. A pickup rolls up, the door swings, and someone on the sidewalk drops. State Police scramble. CTE operatives run red lights. Every truck on the road gets stopped, shaken, and questioned. But the shooters? Already gone. That’s the tempo now—loud, fast, and gone before you blink.
Sunday morning, violence shifts to El Salto. A forest road. A black trash bag. A man’s body left beside a 2015 Cherokee like a broken promise. No press release. No arrests. Just silence.

They don’t know who it is.
By Monday, the tempo changes again. In Valle del Guadiana, a young man walks out of his home. Neighbors say he saw it coming—told his people to go back inside. He stayed. One round to the skull. No theatrics. Just business.
Hours later, a body was dumped beneath the “Bienvenidos a Durango” sign. That welcome mat is soaked through.
Tuesday. Canatlán. A burned-out SUV still smolders. Whatever was inside is gone now—a human body, reduced to ash. That’s not a message. That’s erasure.
And just a few hours away in Gómez Palacio, civilians are pinging cartel retail spots on Facebook. One map pin reads “297 Gladiolas.” The caption says it all: “Report it before someone else does and we go back to 2013.”

Another post shows a faded Corona-stamped bodega called Mini Super Gelo. It could be any store in any colonia. But on WhatsApp, it’s labeled clearly: pun70 venta dr0g4 — Cabrera slang for a retail narco point. A beer shack two blocks down, Expendio Victoria, looks just as harmless until you realize that’s where a man took a bullet to the head Monday night. One dead. One wounded. Micheladas still advertised for 35 pesos.

Los Chapitos Inside Cabrera’s Castle
Here’s the thing no one wants to say out loud: the Cabreras don’t run Durango like they used to. And Los Chapitos? They’re not knocking on the door — they’re already inside, walking the halls. That’s not guesswork. I’ve got sources inside CTE 🦂 who’ve told me flat-out: Chapiza operatives are here. Low-profile, unmarked vehicles, staying off the radar — but very much on the move.
The play is textbook: heat the plaza. Quick hits in broad daylight, bodies left like warnings, force the state to react and expose its loyalties. Every execution sends a ripple. Every ripple fractures the old order.

He’s injured and was taken to the hospital in Durango Capital.
Let’s ask ourselves something: how is Mayiza fighting for the capital, Culiacán? By heating up the plaza. By turning up the pressure in civilian zones and forcing the Chapitos to defend their own house. Heat up the plaza, drag in the government, make it impossible for enemies to move without hitting a checkpoint — and in the process, lock down entire neighborhoods where families stop going out after dark. Now look closely — because you’re about to see the same thing in reverse in Durango. And yet, the Cabreras and Mayiza still insist no outsiders are here. No CJNG. No Chapiza. Nothing to see. But the bodies say otherwise.
Those pun70s? They’re not hidden anymore. Corner stores. Beer shacks. Mini supers. Places you’d pass without blinking. But locals are tired of blinking. They’re posting coordinates. Taking pictures. Not because they trust the cops. Because they’re trying to get ahead of the next bullet.

WhatsApp blasts tell the rest: “Avoid the pun70s. If you’re in, get out. The cleanup has started. La Union 🍕🐓 (Los Chapitos & CJNG) is here. And they’re not leaving.”
This isn’t a rumor. It’s not some narco fairy tale. It’s not me being biased. It’s happening. And the people who used to walk into pun70s with impunity? Some of them are now getting dragged out in bags.

La Unión 🍕🐓 is already in Durango.
Take care of your family. Don’t go out at night. And stay away from clubs like La Chula and Ibiza.
Meanwhile, the state keeps parroting the same lullaby: Durango is calm. Durango is safe. Officials deny there’s a war. But here’s the math: bodies, burn sites, bullet casings. And not a single conviction in sight. That’s not calm. That’s surrender.
Dusk in Durango isn’t peaceful anymore. It’s loaded. Every shadow could be someone watching. Every knock might be someone deciding who stays and who disappears. And the government? Still stuck on that broken record. Still pretending the floor isn’t cracking beneath their boots — while their pockets stay fat.

But me? I’ve seen this film before.
I predict the next big story out of Durango won’t be another “isolated incident.” It’ll be a name. A weighty one. Someone getting plucked off the board—whether by gunfire or handcuffs. That’s how this chapter ends. My sources indicate that the bad guys are preparing for a major takedown within Durango.
Not with calm. But with a takedown.
Just yesterday, a team from CTE 🦂 rolled deep with the State Police into downtown Durango. They hit a house hard—20 operatives in multiple patrol vehicles, smashing windows and storming the location like they were kicking down the door to a war zone.

That same day, another drug point operator was executed—multiple gunshots, no mercy. One more person caught in the spray, still alive but barely. That one went down in Gómez Palacio.
“There are soldiers in the capital. They came in with armored trucks. Something big is about to go down. No one knows who they’re here for, but they’re not moving around for nothing.”
And early this morning, gunfire was heard ricocheting across several corners of Durango City. Not a shootout. Just punctuation. Someone is letting the city know the war hasn’t clocked out.
The heat isn’t coming. It’s seeping in.
Alejandro. Your move.

What he said
Bullshit I come and go inside Durango and no news like this, and if they even tried contra ain’t getting far. I recommend you to guy to Durango and check how things are really. Your going to be surprised how under control is everything there and how sophisticated the cartel is. I would dare to say its the most under control state in all Mexico
No offense, but I have multiple sources who work directly with the Cabreras and live full-time in Durango. They’re not passing through—they’re planted in the middle of it.
I stay in contact with residents and business owners across the region. They’ve been reporting this for weeks—while the media stays silent.
But I also took it a step further and checked with Chapitos. Same confirmation. Same story. Different side.
How do you think I learn about the Cabrera-run airstrips, the ranch locations, the dirty officials on payroll, and Alejandro’s wife’s new hotel? Not from the media.
Don’t take my word for it. Search for crime news in Durango yourself. You’ll see what a blackout looks like.
If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it—did it even happen?
Everywhere but Durango, yes.
I stand by my sources. I stand by my reporting.
I don’t chase narratives. I document what others won’t.
From today.
🚨😈🚨🚨 #BREAKING
#Durango
This Friday morning, the body of a man showing signs of violence was found in a vacant lot located at the corner of Duraznos and Chabacanos streets, in the Las Huertas neighborhood of Durango City.
The victim was identified as Luis Guillermo “N,” 35 years old and a resident of the Las Bugambilias subdivision. The body showed multiple signs of violence, and authorities believe he may have been beaten before being murdered.
Agents from the State Investigative Police took over the scene and will continue with the corresponding procedures.
The spoiled son of a boss is finding out he wasn’t the undisputed king he was led to believe he was. Chapitos for all the negative things about them do have grit from their father having some tragic lows meanwhile mayos kids never suffered and just ratted on the help when the heat was too hot. We’re seeing this play out in war strategies and who has the will and cunning to win. Rusos and cabreras used this beef to take out competitor, MF was overconfident and unprepared for what he was about to unleash. MF is the sucker and will be the front of rusos and cabreras even if they “win”
Everyone pretty much dismissed Ivan’s eight years of experience rebuilding an empire, despite Mayo. But you can’t have that kind of conversation with a fanatic. The only reason we know who Mayito Flaco is, because the three brothers and uncle in front were occupied with cooperating with the US government.
Damn, you really have it against Mayito don’t you mica. You haven’t gotten one prophecy right on him yet. But keep trying. You got to hit eventually.
I encourage you to read the article and comment on it.
Funny guy. You say Mayo’s ratted as if chapo’s didn’t. Do you even remember why BLO’s broke off??! Or how chapo met with dea while incarcerated??? Or any of the other times he gave info or people up??? Besides that, you act like Mayito is losing the war It isn’t Mayo’s who clicked up with Jalisco. That alone reeks of desperation.
You’re ranting about Chapo, BLO, and the DEA like that somehow erases what’s happening in Durango right now. It doesn’t. You sound desperate to rewrite the narrative. For your own sanity, please stop reading my articles.

I believe Babay flipped to Mayos after getting out of prison recently.
i’m asking around I’ll let you know when I find out.
I understand, you write what people want to hear, but ain’t no chapos or Cjng in Durango, maybe there’s independents here and there that don’t align and those are the ones that get killed for selling dope not working for cabreras. I guess your contacts are chapo or cjng fans and just daydream of that fantasy. Go to Durango, drive into the towns at night or drive in the capital around night time and see for yourself how peaceful it is. You see cartel driving around but if you don’t bother them they won’t bother you.
My response to you is the same as to others who share your view. And while I don’t agree, I still want your comment to be seen — that’s why I’m leaving it up.
Thanks for reading.
Question Mica. Do you think Alejandro Cabrera Sarabia and his group Will switch sides to Chapitos? Or do you think the loyalty to The Mayos side is Strong. Just asking because So many people have been switching sides. Like someone changing the channels on their TV’s. Also Thank You In Advance. And Great Job.
That’s a good question — I actually asked my Cabrera sources the same thing about six months ago.
From what I see, the real question is: how much longer does Alejandro 02 keep taking orders? Mayito Flaco is a liability, and he leans on Alejandro for everything.
As for switching sides — the Cabreras would never align with Chapitos or CJNG. That’s not even in the realm of possibility.
Funny how six months ago all the “experts” were saying a truce was coming.
Nobody calls them out.
Nobody circles back.
They just move on like they never said it.
But some of us remember.
At a Federal level. Zambadas have more ties. Upper echelon. Independents and those who fall under “Zambada Sicairos” are more comfortable/secure than leaning with others. Many connects Zambadas have are de abolengo for Azul/Carrillo years. Old wealth and power.
Was mica have you seen the new video sent out by gende de guano
https://t.me/Zulucanal/8183
Pretty interesting to see what’s gonna happen
thanks I’m gonna check that out.
My guess is if MF doesn’t win within the next 6 months, cabreras and rusos might force out mayo flaco by killing him or snitching on him to get arrested by the government. MF is obviously just a figurehead at this point and the least influential of the 3 main groups. I’d say the Aquiles faction even has more say than him.
Hey mica do you have any info on the five family members of el “Tito” who got killed in prison and his family members got picked up just found murdered. If I’m not mistaken he was part of BLO right ? If so who killed him, who picked up his family. I’m know that 2 others got killed along this was el Sagittarius son maybe internal or revenge?
I highly doubt any cartel in Mexico has complete control of any state or city. To say CJNG or Chapitos aren’t in Durango is pretty laughable. MF has people in Jalisco and all of Chapos plazas. Its not Nazi Germany we are talking about here.
