According to Jemirez, El Panu was killed! I believe this to be true and if it holds up, I will share the story of when I met him.

I am told that El Panu is alive and well. The Chapitos confirm that Panu was not even in Mexico state and laugh that this is the 8th time he’s been killed.

It looks like it was not Panu, but still unconfirmed.
María José Rojo, the victim’s wife, revealed that her father is the Sinaloa native Adolfo Rojo Montoya.
She said her partner was Oscar Ruiz. The Mexico City Prosecutor’s Office (@FiscaliaCDMX) is investigating whether he is actually Oscar Medina González, “El Panu,” a Los Chapitos narco.
By the end of the day, we will find out one way or another. I expect to have direct talks with Chapitos and DEA later today to confirm either way.
News came late last night that El Panu might have been killed in the luxurious Zona Rosa in Mexico City, dining with someone claiming to be his wife and another couple. Nothing is confirmed and there are disputed reports.
The mans wife said he was Oscar Ruiz, but there are indications it is Oscar Medina González, El Panu, a Sinaloa native for whom the U.S. is offering $4 million USD, claims journalist Carlos Jimenez.
The reporter goes on to say the man arrived two days ago from Sinaloa. I have doubts, but will reserve my thoughts for now.

So what’s the end result of Panu? No government official has confirmed it and somebody at that level, they would announce it publicly. I don’t believe it was him.
Yes, it was Panu. The government hasn’t said anything because they have egg on their face. He was flying commercial with an alias using his first name.
