Milenio gained access to a WhatsApp chat where items ranging from weapons imported from the United States to exotic animals are sold and traded—clearly through illicit means. The black market has leveraged WhatsApp to establish a secure, direct method for arms trafficking, regardless of distance or origin.
Milenio gained access to a chat on the messaging app—launched in December 2025—used for buying and trading weapons, as well as magazines, ammunition, cars, and even exotic animals. We identified three weapons marked “Property of the US Government” that are available at the click of a button.
Depending on the type and model, they sell for up to 60,000 pesos—such as this Colt AR-15 semi-automatic assault rifle, listed for sale in August. Another offering is a Colt M16 rifle—a model adopted by the US armed forces in the 1960s—priced at over 50,000 pesos.
But that’s not all; the group also sells drone signal jammers, jewelry, and even military service discharge documents. Let’s enter a registration number and hit search. The following data appears: draft registration, standby status, military grade, person’s name, place and date of birth, parents’ names, marital status, occupation, CURP code, highest level of education, address, and military zone number.
The status indicates that it is currently active. To complete your transaction, contact your lawyer and make your payment as soon as possible. The area codes associated with those offering these products and services are from Apatzingán and Morelia in Michoacán, as well as various municipalities in Jalisco.
