An alleged armed clash between civilians has sparked fear among the residents of the municipal seat. The incident reportedly took place this Thursday morning, according to videos circulating on social media.
It is presumed that the event occurred in the vicinity of the El Roblito neighborhood—near the Agustina Ramírez “El Peñón” Dam—on the road leading toward the mountain community of El Camarón.
As of now, no official authority has confirmed or denied the incident; however, amidst the uncertainty, some schools are reporting student absences, despite there being no official suspension of classes.
It is worth noting that the *Fiestas del Mar de Las Cabras* (Sea Festival of Las Cabras) kicks off this Thursday with a parade and a free artistic performance in the municipal seat, while the official opening ceremony is scheduled to take place tomorrow in the beach zone.
Additionally, the official launch of the security operation—which will be deployed to safeguard the festivities—is scheduled for noon this Thursday.
