Alfredo Gómez Ramírez, a businessman from the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC), has distanced himself from the house at Cerrada Arcángeles 1275 in the Private San Miguel Development. Mexican and American authorities suspect this property may belong to El Ruso through third parties.
In an interview with ZETA, where he requested the publication of a clarification letter, Gómez Ramírez stated that he acquired the property in 2007 but sold it ten years later to move to another address. He emphasized that he obtained the new property through formal means.

The latest edition of ZETA included a report on the operations of El Ruso cell, mentioning images, names, and the protection they receive to commit crimes. The report highlighted that the cell’s operative arm is led by Jesus Alexander Sanchez Felix or Jose Ponce Felix, presumed innocent until proven guilty.
State, federal, and U.S. investigators contributed to the report, identifying two properties allegedly used by the criminals. One of these properties is the house at Cerrada San Arcángeles, which, according to state public security records, once belonged to a construction businessman. However, Gómez Ramírez provided official documents proving he sold the property through a real estate company in 2017.
Gómez Ramírez also demonstrated the legality of the properties he and his family acquired in subsequent years, asserting that he has no involvement with any criminal organization in Mexicali.
