CARTEL INSIDER EXCLUSIVE
Cartel Insider received a message earlier this evening from the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) and Los Chapitos threatening artists who perform at El Palenque in Culiacán.
Signed “CJNG-JGL,” the message names Arley Pérez and Panter Bélico and threatens to shoot performers as they come out to sing. It tells artists to stop confirming their participation and declares, “We are at war. This is no time to celebrate.”

The text also says “this was only a warning,” without identifying what it is referring to.
The Palenque’s announced November 12–29 program includes both singers. Organizers have said most shows will begin at 11 p.m., according to Quadratín Sinaloa.
Cartel Insider previously published a separate message signed “I.A.G.” warning Culiacán residents to stay away from the Palenque.
Mica’s Analysis
I do not know why anyone would want to go to a concert in Culiacán at night under these circumstances. And I’ll tell you this: in my assessment, this is not an empty promise. I would take this threat seriously, and I would not go.
Message in English
This is an ultimatum to all the so-called artists who are agreeing to take part in the events at El Palenque. This was only a warning. Anyone who keeps confirming their attendance should be prepared to face the consequences this will bring. We are at war. This is no time to celebrate. Whoever performs will be shot dead the moment they come out to sing. La Empresa is not a joke for gunmen disguised as singers. And this is aimed mainly at you, Arley Pérez and Panter Bélico. Sing at your shitty ranch.
Sincerely,
CJNG-JGL
