Six criminals who sold drugs at a car wash and a laundromat were arrested in five raids in the Cuauhtémoc and Venustiano Carranza Neighborhoods.
During five raids in the Cuauhtémoc and Venustiano Carranza municipalities, six alleged members of the Unión Tepito gang were arrested for drug sales and distribution. To remain anonymous, they operated out of a car wash known as “Pits” and a laundry called “Express.”
The detainees were also said to have met to determine sales locations and assign areas of responsibility. Their names are: son Carlos Humberto Salas Hernández, alias “Beco,” and his wife Pamela Itzel Escobar Tejas; Jesús Alberto Colín Sarmiento, alias “Chucho”; Antonio Colín Sarmiento, alias “Toño”; Antonio Lorenzo Cortés; and Aarón Rojas Cuevas.
At the home on San Francisco Tultenco alley, in the Paulino Navarro neighborhood, 593 doses of cocaine, 45 doses of marijuana, a bag of cocaine in bulk, a firearm with four cartridges, and two cell phones were seized.
At the second property on José A. Torres Street, in the Vista Alegre neighborhood, 500 doses of cocaine and a bag containing the same substance were seized, along with a package of marijuana in bulk, a handgun, and four cell phones.
At the third property, the “Pits” car wash, on José T. Cuellar Street in the Paulino Navarro neighborhood, 200 doses of cocaine hydrochloride were seized.
At the fourth property, located on Torno Street, in the Artes Gráficas neighborhood, 47 doses of marijuana were seized. Finally, the fifth property was located on the same street and 500 doses of cocaine, 50 doses of marijuana, 15 cars, and two motorcycles were found.
