Months ago, I said it: there’s an alianza between Los Chapitos and CJNG. Since then, it’s grown to include the Nuevo Cártel de Juárez and El Guano. Sources confirmed that to me six weeks ago.
If you’ve been hearing that CJNG is in Badiraguato, it’s true. Mencho sent gear and a group to train Guano’s men—drones, tactics, and combat support.
There’s a truce between Guano and El Músico, but Guano is still fighting Mayito Flaco and the volteados [flipped ones/traitors]. That’s why Mencho’s people are there.
It’s still wild to me—CJNG supporting a stronghold that once defined El Chapo’s legacy.

A common enemy makes fast friends. It’s not just Chapitos that are desperate. All the DTOs are getting desperate. Between Trump clamping down, Mayo talking, and all the infighting, business is slowing. I don’t think any of the known big dogs will survive the next cpl of yrs. I think they’ll all be dismantled and new bosses will emerge. The old ways won’t work anymore. They’re going to need educated, connected, and low profile people to keep up. JMO

Trump is using Tariffs to make Sheinbaum clean up along with technology and it is changing the landscape. In the decades that I have covered cartels only Escobar faced more pressure.
Very true. Like anything else, the ones who get in the new thing first will dominate. All of who’s left of the “old guard families better adapt fast, if they want to be relevant at all. IMO, CS is gonna bend over, and let the US go get the big trophies. I think the decisions have been made. They’re just making sure it’s going to be eligible for plausible deniability. The Guzman’s will be caught or killed. Mencho, Isidro, Musico, anyone with a known name will fall. They are most likely infiltrating all of the orgs. All sides have lost many people. War Money, and ability to traffic humans and drugs is costing them big. The pressure that the corrupt politicians from both sides is heavy, and only gaining weight. If you’re Sheinbaum are you going to bend to the DTO’s, or Trump? If she chooses as her predessors, Trump will bulldoze Mexico economically. He will violate their sovereignty on her watch. I believe they are only negotiating a way for the Mex gov to get money to replace what they get for the cartels. Once an agreement is made, The drones, the Solemani bombs that target one guy and uses blades to kill with little to no collateral killings. I don’t think we will see US military boots on Mexican soil, except small units on specific targets. They’ll use private mercenaries and CIA contractors, then say it was some crazy dad who lost a kid from fentanyl or something just dumb enough for the average person to believe it. I just sense there’s going to be a cleansing. There’s only one way Sheinbaum gets outta this unscathed. She’s got a let the US go get the guys they want. She tried giving them old guys who haven’t really been relevant in a long time. The Trevino bros were the big surprise. I knew they’d give up RCQ, and few of the others. I think Fausto makes few mistakes, but hitching to MF might be his worst. Weird is the rumors of Musico, Mencho, and Guzman’s hitching up. I never followed the BLO much, but weren’t Musico and Isidro buddies?? Or did they split after H2 got shredded by that mini gun?
