Shooting On 12 de Octubre Avenue; Three Fedepales Killed

Three members of the Celaya Municipal Police, of federal lineage and popularly known as Fedepaless (Federal Municipal Policemen) died after being shot inside a bar located in the Nuevo Celaya neighborhood, where they were socializing.

The events occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, when an alleged shooting was reported in the bar called “MicheLTS”, located on 12 de Octubre Avenue. Members of the State Public Security Forces and the National Guard moved to the scene.

Upon arrival, they observed three men and a woman with visible gunshot wounds at a table near the entrance door. Red Cross paramedics immediately examined the victims and determined that one of the men no longer had vital signs. The survivors were taken to a hospital.

Unfortunately, minutes later the death of two other men was reported due to the severity of their injuries. The woman, reported in critical condition, was hospitalized.

Sources close to the investigation confirmed that the deceased were active members of the Celaya Municipal Police, of federal lineage. They were off-duty at the time of the attack. No further details have been provided regarding the woman.

The State Attorney General’s Office took note of the events and sent two experts to process the scene and collect possible evidence to help clarify the case. So far, the municipal authorities have not commented on the matter.
