Marcela Rubiales was mentioned in Anabel Hernández’s book, “Emma and the Other Ladies of Narco,” the singer has decided to explain her relationship.
Marcela Rubiales, daughter of Flor Silvestre and sister of Pepe Aguilar, has publicly responded to the accusations against her after being mentioned in journalist Anabel Hernández’s book, “Emma and the Other Ladies of Narco.”
The publication details the singer’s alleged ties to Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo, alias Don Neto, one of the founders of the Guadalajara Cartel.

Hernández’s text includes testimony from a former cartel security agent, identified as Jorge Godoy, who claimed that Rubiales and singer Zoyla Flor had attended a private party at the Aranzazú Hotel in Guadalajara, where the kingpin was staying.
According to this witness’s account, both artists were taken away by hitmen and left the scene with luxuries and gifts. The former agent even claimed that Fonseca Carrillo had a special interest in the singer.
“Well dressed, perfumed, elegant, beautiful, they walked by without turning to look at anyone; we didn’t look at them either, because they would give you the cold shoulder,” Godoy recounted in the book.
According to the account, the artists left “very happy, with full smiles and wearing jewelry.” Furthermore, the former agent stated that Don Neto “loved Marcela Rubiales” and that she had been the bridge between the kingpin and Zoyla Flor.

Marcela Rubiales breaks her silence about her relationship with Don Neto
Given these rumors, Marcela Rubiales decided to clarify what happened in an interview with an entertainment magazine and explain that people linked to organized crime used to visit a recreational area where she worked alongside another singer.
“At that time, there was a place in Guadalajara where I used to work, El Mesón del Mariachi. I would work for long periods. We lived in the Aranzazú Hotel, where they all used to go,” she explained.
The singer flatly denied having received luxuries from the drug trafficker, explaining that thanks to her father, television host Paco Malgesto, she was always surrounded by luxury and jewelry, so she had no need or interest in being with anyone in return.
“But they didn’t give me coats and jewelry, for God’s sake. I have my own. My dad showered me with jewelry and coats. Why would I be with a man to give me things!”
Finally, she categorically denied the alleged romantic relationship with Ernesto Fonseca
