Chilpancingo authorities confirmed the discovery of 11 bodies tortured and abandoned by armed hitmen. Among the victims are two minors, as confirmed by the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Guerrero, which has already begun investigations into this multiple homicide.
According to the information provided by the Guerrero authorities, the 11 bodies were found during the early hours of this Wednesday inside a vehicle in the Chilpancingo area. Among the victims are two women, two minors and 9 men in total. The Guerrero agency stated that the bodies were located on Vicente Guerrero Boulevard, near the area known as the Marqués bus stop.
A citizen alerted the authorities about the presence of this abandoned vehicle, which is why agents from the investigative ministerial police were mobilized, as well as forensics from the Guerrero Prosecutor’s Office. They confirmed the events, immediately the area was cordoned off and under police custody, while the corresponding inspections were carried out at the scene.

Te Prosecutor’s Office opened the corresponding investigation file for the crime of homicide against 11 people. In addition, work has already begun to identify all the bodies, which were transferred as unknown to the corresponding amphitheater, where the legal autopsy will be performed. In the next few hours the authorities will give an update on this case.
It should be noted that a direct relationship with the 16 people who have been missing for two weeks and who are originally from the communities of Chilapa and Quechultenango is not ruled out. With this crime, another episode of violence is being experienced in the municipality of Chilpancingo and in Guerrero in general. Which is why the population itself demands that the authorities take action in the matter to ensure their safety.
