TULA DE ALLENDE, HIDALGO — November 29, 2025
Just after midnight, heavily armed sicarios stormed La Resaka bar and opened fire. No warning. No words. Just bullets. Six people were killed on the spot, maybe seven. At least eight more were critically wounded, most shot at close range.
This wasn’t random. Tula has become contested ground in Mexico’s underworld. The Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) has been creeping in, fighting local crews for control of stolen fuel, meth distribution, and extortion rackets that bleed small towns dry. Hidalgo used to be quiet. Not anymore.
Sources say this may have been an internal betrayal—someone flipped, someone owed. Either way, the hit was clean and loud. By dawn, soldiers and state cops rolled out their usual “coordinated response.” No suspects named. No arrests.
