Human Remains Of Two People Located Near Teneria del Santuario, Guanajuato

Both corpses were found on the Celaya-Comonfort highway

The remains, apparently of a man and a woman, were located in parcel areas of the Celaya-Comonfort highway, a few meters from the entrance of the community of Teneria del Santuario, events occurred this Sunday morning.

It was minutes before 9:00 a.m. that the existence of human remains was reported on the Celaya-Comonfort highway, a few meters from the community of Tenería del Santuario, where black bags and some parts of two human bodies were found among crops and on the side of the road.

Elements of the Mexican Army and the National Guard arrived to the site, as well as elements of the State Public Security Forces, who corroborated the report and cordoned off the area with yellow tape and their patrol units. It should be noted that traffic wasn’t closed, drivers were able to travel through the area without any problem. The crime scene was at the edge of the road.

The identity of the victims isn’t known at this time, but two narco messages alluding to a criminal group were found. Elements of the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), attached to the Specialized Homicide Unit, arrived at the site to begin the first investigations. For his part, the Criminal Expert began processing the scene to locate any evidence that could help in the progress of the investigation.

Finally, after several minutes of work in the area by experts, personnel of the Forensic Medical Service entered the scene of the crime, where the remains of a man and a woman were located among the crops and at the edge of the road, which were lifted to taken to the Guanajuato capital. Where an autopsy will be performed and the identity of the victims determined. 

An investigative folder has been initiated, where all the investigations and evidence will begin to be integrated in order to verify the mechanics of the facts and find those responsible for this heinous crime.
