CANCUN.- This morning, the Colombian woman who had been kidnapped yesterday while leaving a gym in the 510 Region of this city was rescued in the El Milagro neighborhood.
The rescue operation took place at the end of this irregular colony, approximately five kilometers from José López Portillo avenue, where two individuals were arrested and who, apparently, had already demanded the ransom from the victim’s family.
The detainees were transferred to the Narcotics and Kidnapping Prosecutor’s Office on Diagonal Tulum Avenue, in Supermanzana 89, under heavy security by the municipal and ministerial police.
This woman had been surprised by a group of criminals while she was in the parking lot of a gym, where after breaking the window of her vehicle, the criminals forced her to get into another car.
