Cancun.- A photograph is circulating on social media where a municipal police officer can be seen drinking a beer while driving a patrol car on Cobá Avenue with Bonampak, near kilometer 0 of the Hotel Zone.
This image was posted by a user who did not specify the date and time of the event, but it can be seen that the officer is driving one of the recently delivered patrol cars.
In the photo, the element in service is shown holding what appears to be a red and white can from a well-known beer brand, although it could also be a thermos from this brand.
If it is proven that it is an alcoholic beverage, the officer would be committing a violation that would have to be investigated by the Internal Affairs Division of the corporation.
