Rene 00, once an operative for Los Chapitos, recently switched sides in the battle for control of the Sinaloa Cartel. Apparently, 00 promised his new employer that he would bring more Chapitos to join him.
In an effort to purge sicarios, 00 sent his right-hand man to meet with members of Chapiza to join him. That meeting didn’t go as planned.
“Keep switching sides and making me offers to change colors. I have worn these colors for more than 15 years, René 00—you know that. And here I am leaving the representative you sent to speak with me. Thanks, but I do not deal with spineless vermin.
