‘El Jefe del Palenque’ Takes Los Alegres del Barranco to No. 1 On Billboard

Following the controversy generated by the Alegres del Barranco after projecting images of Mencho at their concerts in Jalisco and Michoacán, which we remembered a while ago. 

The musical group has now reached first place on Billboard in the LyricFind Global category. In fact, they did so with the narco ballad dedicated to Mencho called ‘El Jefe del Palenque.’

For a song to enter this ranking, it must have a high number of downloads in the United States, both on radio stations and streaming platforms.

‘El Jefe del Palenque’ increased its audience in the United States by 46%, reaching a total of 13.6 million views.
