Sources close to the family told Línea Directa that the 46-year-old man attempted to flee during a federal deployment
In the midst of a federal air and ground operation in the municipality of Quilá, south of the municipality of Culiacán, the death of Rafael Guadalupe Félix Núñez, alias “Changuito Ántrax,” was reported.
Based on information provided by sources close to his family and preliminarily confirmed by authorities, the 46-year-old man reportedly died after drowning in a river while trying to flee.
According to information provided to Línea Directa, Félix Núñez—also identified as “06” within a criminal organization in Sinaloa—was killed after a chase during which he attempted to escape.
Who was “Changuito Ántrax”?
Rafael “N” has been identified by national and international authorities as the operator of a criminal cell in Sinaloa. Various reports have identified him as a key player in the expansion of fentanyl trafficking since the drug entered the international market in 2008.
According to the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Félix Núñez established himself as a violent and strategic player in the international logistics of the Sinaloa cartel, particularly after he managed to escape from Mexican authorities in 2017.
OFAC designated him under Executive Order 14059 for his alleged involvement in activities that significantly contribute to the international proliferation of illicit drugs and their means of production.
At this time, the information remains confidential, and it is up to the federal Security Cabinet to officially confirm the facts.

Even though I said you have little man syndrome and claimed you got butt hurt, I still like the dedication.
