They hit Camilo at his house in Temixco. The wood on the bathroom door says it: a tight cluster at the lock line—short burst at the lock. Splinters. Quiet. Door swings.
Last video: posted hours before the shooting—filmed in the bedroom, he walks through the outfit he’d wear that day.
Inside: tile and glass. Fine mist on the mirror, flecks on the sink. Close work, not wild spray from the hall. He drops where he’s hit and stays there. No drag. Blood sits heavy at the neck and shoulder; the dark patch at the groin is post-mortem release. The room isn’t wrecked. They came to finish, not to wrestle. The sicarios made sure to accomplish the kill and humiliate him.
That tight cluster at lock height says the shooter punched the latch with a short burst through the door, forced it open, and finished the shots inside the bathroom.
The glasses are the tell. Too square on the face for a fall. Someone put them there for the picture. One click. Out.

Camilo was in his early 40s. He had a wife—neighbors say she was home—and kids. Plenty liked him. Plenty didn’t. The bathroom shows which crowd arrived first.
Online, he built a character—he played it up for the camera with exotic pets and a luxury lifestyle—and mixed color commentary on cartel news into a show on YouTube and his podcast. He didn’t hedge.
He went after Mayito Flaco by name, often and loudly. He was outspoken. That brought reach—and heat. For months, he’d been ridden by the same names: Mayito Flaco and Mayiza.
