On Sunday afternoon, authorities received a report via the emergency number about the discovery of a banner with a threatening message in Acueducto Park, located on Alfredo Chávez Street. The message warned that a “purge of thieves and drug dealers” had begun in that area of the city.
Municipal police officers were the first to arrive at the scene, followed by state police officers and military personnel, who secured the area and collected evidence. Similar incidents have been reported in recent weeks.
According to the banner, the message is a warning to those involved in illicit activities within the neighborhood, and it states that measures will be taken to restore order. The names Menny, Ch, Nayeli, Joel, El Castor, El Fire, Empresa, and Feddy are also mentioned.

Authorities indicated that they will pursue an investigation to identify those responsible and prevent possible incidents. They also removed the banner and took it for further investigation.
In addition, the presence of a C4M unit from the Municipal Public Security Directorate at the entrance to the aqueduct was noted, which could be key in gathering information and clarifying the facts.
It is worth mentioning that due to the presence of security forces, several citizens lingered around the area asking what had happened. However, the officers on site remained tight-lipped to avoid causing panic and for security and investigative reasons.
It should be noted that in recent weeks, similar incidents have been reported in other parts of the city where messages allegedly warn of a crackdown on individuals or groups involved in illegal activities.
Authorities urged citizens to remain calm and report any suspicious activity that could assist in the investigation.
