According to a publication made on the social networks of the U.S. agency, this person had dual U.S. and Mexican nationality, and was arrested by the investigative unit of the Office of Homeland Security Investigations (TCIU, for its acronym in English).
The above, with the support of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) and the Mexican Ministry of National Defense (Defensa).
Homicides and smuggling
J3″ was the leader of “Los Demonios,” a violent faction of the Sinaloa Cartel responsible for hundreds of homicides and drug smuggling across the U.S.-Mexico border.
He is the third member of the “Los Demonios” leadership to be arrested in the last month thanks to the collaboration of the Mexican government and ICE HSI.
According to the release, the arrest represents another significant victory in the joint U.S.-Mexico efforts to dismantle violent cartels, keep the border secure and protect our communities.
