Confrontation leaves one dead in Temascalcingo, Edomex.
After a confrontation in the municipality of Temascalcingo, in the northern area of the State of Mexico, at least one member of the Municipal Police was injured and an alleged criminal was killed. In addition, the arrest of five people probably involved was reported.
Long weapons and a vehicle were seized at the scene.
Through a communique, the State agency shared information about this criminal event that took place just after 2:00 p.m. this Wednesday.
It is expected that during the afternoon of this Wednesday, the authority will give details about the arrests and seizures carried out in this municipality.
It should be noted that Temascalcingo is located in the north of the State of Mexico, and that it borders the state of Michoacán.
In previous days, the presence of alleged members of the Familia Michoacana in the area had been documented.
The outcome of the confrontation, according to the Secretary of Security of the State of Mexico (SSEM), one alleged criminal lost his life, a security element was injured and five people were arrested.
The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) began the investigations and transferred the body to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo).
