An unidentified woman was abducted by a pair of armed men while traveling in a vehicle with her two minor children, on one of the streets of the Providencia subdivision, south of the city, at midday on Thursday, June 12.
The report was registered minutes before one o’clock in the afternoon when the 911 emergency service received a call about the kidnapping of a woman who was driving a white Toyota Corolla on Santa Inés street in the Providencia subdivision located between the Mercado de Abastos sector and the Lázaro Cárdenas neighborhood.
Minutes later, agents from the different police forces and the Secretary of National Defense moved to the site and upon arrival confirmed that two minors were abandoned, who were left in the care of their relatives who arrived at the site.
As a reference, it was only said that there were two subjects carrying long weapons and traveling on board a recent model vehicle who were responsible for the woman’s abduction.
