“During Tuesday afternoon, the owner of a seafood restaurant was killed by armed men who entered the establishment he was running.
The incident took place at the business located on Diamante boulevard, in the Santa Elena housing development, north of Culiacán.
The victim was identified as Abel “N”, 40 years old, who was taken to a private hospital after the attack and declared dead.
According to reports, two men on a motorcycle arrived at the scene and shot the victim at close range with a handgun.
After the attack, the perpetrators fled the scene, leaving the motorcycle behind, and later robbed a woman of her car.
The location, El Muelle 8 seafood restaurant, was cordoned off by authorities to begin investigations.
