Arturo Medina Mayoral, head of the State Public Security Secretariat (SSP), announced the arrest of Edgar Francisco “N”, who, he said, is considered to be the “leader here in Zacatecas of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel” (CJNG).

In a press conference, the secretary explained that Edgar Francisco was found with a .40 caliber handgun, a magazine, 13 rounds, and 46 doses of crystal meth.
According to authorities of the State Attorney General’s Office (FGJE) this target is charged with bribery, threats and crimes against health, but also has arrest warrants for aggravated kidnapping.
