Soldiers found nine packages containing 9 kilograms and 655 grams of cocaine hydrochloride, Punto Norte reported. The case concerns alleged drug-transportation offenses.
The seized drugs and Domingo were transferred to the FGR's Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Regional Control in Baja California. The federal prosecutor's office said its agent assembled sufficient evidence to begin the criminal proceedings. The report did not identify Domingo by a full name. The detention measure and prosecution order describe the current procedural status; they are not a final conviction.
