Mexican Army detains alleged La Mayiza plaza chief in Mexicali

Mexican Army personnel detained Ernesto Enrique “N,” known as “El Niño,” in Mexicali, Baja California, according to Noticias PV. The outlet identified him as an alleged plaza chief for the La Mayiza faction of the Sinaloa Cartel in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, and said intelligence reports also place him in an operational role in Los Mochis and the border region.
