Anabel Hernández revealed that Ninel Conde had a romantic relationship with drug trafficker Arturo Beltrán Leyva and collaborated with him to launder money.
Ninel Conde lost the lawsuit for moral damages against Anabel Hernández. The journalist revealed that Ninel Conde had a romantic relationship with drug trafficker Arturo Beltrán Leyva and also collaborated with him to launder money.
Anabel Hernández published the book ‘Emma and the other drug ladies’ in 2021, where she brought to light the alleged relationships of several celebrities in Mexico with figures from organized crime, including Ninel Conde’s alleged romance with drug trafficker Arturo Beltrán Leyva.
The singer took legal action against the publisher that published and sold the literary material. With this, she sought a million-dollar compensation for moral damages under the argument that the book had negatively impacted her image and allegedly affected her business.
Now, after years of legal battle Ninel Conde, the journalist and the publisher, Hernández revealed in her podcast ‘Narcosistema’ that justice ruled in her favor. In the podcast, Anabel indicated that for the first time “a court has decided to determine a sentence that will make history,” pointing out that the link between the famous woman and the drug lord did exist.
“For the first time, a court points out that relationships between celebrities and organized crime do indeed exist… The sentence categorically states that my book, my investigation, my statements have not caused any type of moral, financial or any other type of damage to Mrs. Ninel Conde,” she said.
The book published in 2021 dedicated a chapter to the alleged romance between the Mexican singer and Beltrán Leyva, based on “direct witnesses of the events” and “documents found in the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic.”
In addition to the alleged romance between Ninel and the drug trafficker, Anabel also revealed the alleged complicity of the entertainer to launder money for the criminal organization that Leyva headed.
“Mrs. Ninel Conde did have a romantic relationship with drug trafficker Arturo Beltrán Leyva. It is also determined that it is true that she was probably responsible for operations with illegally obtained resources,” she said.
With the court’s decision, Ninel will not be entitled to any type of financial compensation. So far, the singer hasn’t released a statement about this legal decision.
Anabel Hernández also revealed links between drug trafficking and other figures in the entertainment industry in her book, such as Paty Navidad, who publicly confronted the journalist about the alleged falsehood of her statements about her. Respectively, she didn’t file any legal action.

Great article but that is Arturo’s brother in the picture. The desert ant, as he was known got lifed off in the states for not opening his mouth in aid of the government.
Hernandez is a great woman.
