TULUM.- A man was gunned down last night inside the Cada Jaguar restaurant, located at kilometer 7.5 on the road to Boca Paila in the Coastal Zone of this city.
The events took place around 10:40 pm when armed men entered the place and fired several shots before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The attack was reported to the emergency number 911, where elements of the municipal police, National Guard, and the Army arrived and implemented a security operation without managing to apprehend the hitmen.
The area was cordoned off while awaiting personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office to collect evidence and begin the investigation. Later, the body was lifted and taken to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo).
It should be noted that this attack happened just a kilometer and a half away from the “Taboo” beach club, where a double execution also took place minutes before.
