FZ Nueva Generación, a local CJNG cell known as Fuerza Zacatecas, says it is moving into Jerez, Valparaíso, Fresnillo, Río Grande and Guadalupe. In the video, several dozen masked gunmen stand behind an F-Z banner while a spokesman declares war on Los Mayos and the Cabrera group. He also threatens police, prosecutors and anyone the group considers an ally of its enemies.
The spokesman says families are off-limits and the people will be respected. I do not hear protection in that message.

“To the municipalities of Jerez, Valparaíso, Fresnillo, Río Grande, and Guadalupe, Zacatecas: The FZ Nueva Generación operational group announces its arrival in these territories.
We want to make it clear right now that the message being sent comes from a source whose methods are well known. It was, is, and will remain the same: the family is off-limits.
The citizens are to be respected. And the war is between us—the cartels. Furthermore, we do not recognize the authority of the public security directors in Jerez: Sub-officer Joan Mandujano López (aka “Cairos”); Valparaíso Director and First-Class Officer Miriam Guadalupe Saavedra Estrada (aka “Ecate”); Guadalupe, Zacatecas Director Hugo Zavaleta Aparicio (aka “Frizon”); Fresnillo Director Alejandro Acosta Pozos (aka “Orión”); Río Grande Director José Alonso Fernández Martínez; Metropolitan Police Department Director Arturo Rivera López (aka “Águila”); and the members of the FRIZ who support “Los Mayos” as an armed wing.
Likewise, this applies to all commanders from the Prosecutor’s Office stationed in Jerez—Commander Alfredo in Valparaíso, Commander Domingo in Río Grande, and Commander Armando—who are asked not to intervene in this war. We know the commitments you have to “Los Mayos” and Cabrera.
If you get in the way, we will run right over you. And to the territory commanders and hitmen for “Los Mayos” and Cabrera: come out and fight. Don’t send the government out in front of you. The same goes for all the lookouts, agitators, and anyone else supporting them: we want to make it very clear that we will show no mercy.
You have been warned! From this moment on, we disclaim responsibility for any acts or harm committed in our name against the population, officials, or law enforcement agencies—including extortion or protection rackets.
Our sole objective is to finish off “Los Mayos.” We are not at war with anyone else. Let that be perfectly clear. But anyone who steps in on their behalf, we will run right over.
