Ciclones Leader Roy James González Chacón aka El Marino Is Captured

In Tamulipas, Roy James aka El Marino was arrested, alleged member of Los Ciclones, a faction of the Gulf Cartel. 

The events occurred after a joint operation in Ciudad Victoria between personnel from the Army, National Guard, elements from the Prosecutor’s Office for organized crime and the National Intelligence Center. 

Authorities conducted a search in the Haciendas del Bosque neighborhood where El Marino was detained. 

He is linked to drug trafficking to the United States, kidnappings, extortion, and attacks on the National Guard. At the time of his arrest, he was detained with weapons for the exclusive use of the army, magazines and drugs.

He was made available to the general prosecutor of the republic based in Ciudad Victoria Tamaulipas. This man had been a police officer in Tamaulipas and was arrested along with a woman.
