Héctor Luis Palma Salazar, better known as ‘El Güero’, was one of the most important hitmen of the Sinaloa Cartel, to the extent that he quickly became one of its leaders, being a partner of Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán and Ismael ‘El Mayo’ Zambada.

In the city of Guamúchil, Sinaloa, a memory remained of his stay in that municipality, where he ordered the construction of a luxurious mansion that was never finished, apparently due to his arrest, although it is also believed that it was because he had already been identified by the authorities.

According to data from the youtubers Los Primos Urbex, the house was allegedly abandoned in 1995, the year in which Hector Luis was apprehended by authorities after surviving a plane crash miraculously.

“When they arrested the boss, the house remained incomplete, it has many unfinished spaces upstairs, where it could be seen that it was in a raw state, very impressive, it has a pool in the back, garage,” said one of the protagonists of the video.

At the address in unfinished construction, the YouTuber Miguel Hernández, better known as Miguelax, was present, who has visited different iconic people from Sinaloa.

Inside the unfinished mansion, it can be observed that there are some houses around, which were probably going to be used as an event hall, but they could not be completed due to its arrest in the mid-1990s.

One of the peculiarities of this domicile was that it had several domes inside, so it is possible that the native of Mocorito liked this type of decoration.

Héctor Luis was arrested on June 23, 1995, after the plane he was traveling in to attend a wedding crashed on the border of Nayarit and Jalisco. He was able to survive the crash, while some of his companions lost their lives.

Officers of the Mexican Army were responsible for achieving his capture after catching him inside a residence where he was recovering from the accident, so he had no chance to escape. He was immediately taken to the Puente Grande prison.

After 12 years of remaining under the protection of Mexican authorities, in January 2007 Héctor Luis Palma Salazar was extradited to the United States, where he was placed in the hands of the Drug Enforcement Administration. However, 10 years later he returned to Mexico to continue serving his sentence, which means he has been deprived of his freedom for almost 30 years.
