According to investigations, these drugs are marketed by people independent of criminal groups through social networks.
In recent days, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) has increased the fight against drug dealing methods of exotic drugs and marijuana derivatives such as WAX and TCH in its numerous varieties; identifying that all these products and drugs enter the country by smuggling through tunnels and open areas of the border with the United States.
Recently, the FGE has been able to identify a Chinese brand of these products, which enters the country through the ports of the Pacific Ocean, specifically those of Jalisco. The suppliers send it from Guadalajara to the state capital, where it’s commercialized by one or several persons. In these same shipments, they have been able to secure a type of marijuana that comes “en grena”, which is different from the marijuana marketed in the state, due to its cultivation and distinct care.
According to the modus operandi of these merchants, who are completely independent of the cartels or organized crime groups, the various products arrive in the state by parcel or through the border crossing mentioned above, mostly in large packages; from there they are delivered to their marketers.
It has been through the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Strategic Operations, as well as the respective district prosecutors’ offices, that important arrests have been made in the fight against this new drug dealing method, where narcotic derivatives are offered on social networks; mainly Instagram, Whatsapp, ot Telegram groups.
The method used to access the sale of these illegal products entails a customer who makes contact through Instagram, the merchant then reviews or scrutinizes their profile to make sure that they’re not authority figures, customers have to buy a certain amount of products or exceed a certain amount in cash. Via text messages, they agree on the delivery point; but not before asking them to bring an official document such as a voter registration card, which they photograph or carefully inspect.
Some of these products, specifically the marijuana derivatives, come from the U.S. states of Colorado and California, where marijuana consumption is legal and regulated by local authorities, ruling out the possibility that these items are manufactured in the state of Chihuahua.
So far in March, specifically on March 14, the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Strategic Operations executed a search warrant at a home located on Ahuehuete Street, in the Ángel Trías neighborhood, where a man named Gabriel R. D. was arrested in flagrante delicto, in response to citizen complaints and subsequent intelligence work.
This subject was detained in possession of 72 plastic bags containing marijuana; a sack containing marijuana and 7 packages wrapped with tan tape containing weed, for a total of approximately 60 kilograms.
Likewise, two black boxes with the legend “BOUTIQ” were seized, each containing 10 INFUSED MINIS THC bottles, each containing five cigarettes each, for a total of 20 bottles with 100 cigarettes; a box with the legend BIGCHIEF, containing 14 bottles with the legend INFUSED MINIS THC, each containing five cigarettes each, for a total of 70 cigarettes.
It should be noted that this drug is derived from genetically modified marijuana for greater effect, according to specialists in the treatment of addictions, the damage to consumers is severely aggressive and takes place in a less amount of time, in addition to generating a greater dependency.
They also secured boxes containing 1,323 vaporizers marked THC, which contain tetrahydrocannabinol as active substance; three black zip lock bags marked “MUSHROOM BLEND MIX” which contain a dry white mushroom inside, whose active substance is psilocybin, an agent found in certain mushrooms and that when consumed, the person obtains hallucinations.
Meanwhile, the District Attorney’s Office of the Central Zone, assigned to the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Drug Trafficking Crimes, seized drugs and detained four individuals during a search of a home on Valle de la Costa Street in the Valle de la Madrid neighborhood, after the execution of a search warrant granted by a Control Judge of the Morelos Judicial District.
The detainees are Jesús Alfredo G. R., 21 years old, Kevin E. F., 19 years old, Jesús Emanuel R., 34 years old and Sergio Alejandro D. V., 19 years old. A white plastic bag containing marijuana weighing 387 grams, as well as 1,015 boxes of various colors each containing an object with a liquid called WAX composed of the substance THC weighing 2,030 grams were seized.

genetically modified marijuana, that is BS. American corn is genetically modified but grass has been bred and hybridized. There is a huge difference between breeding and adding genes from another plant.
