Three lookouts were arrested at the border between Coahuila and Nuevo León for the crimes of violence against security personnel and possession of narcotics.
The State Attorney General’s Office reported today on the arrest of three more lookouts, individuals who monitor police and military forces to report to criminal groups.
They were arrested on a dirt road near the border between Coahuila and Nuevo León in the municipality of Hidalgo.
Sergio N., Anaicel, and Arturo were arrested on the dirt road near the border between Coahuila and Nuevo León for the crimes of violence against security personnel and possession of narcotics.
The State Attorney General’s Office, through Rigoberto Raúl Ridos, announced the indictment of four more lookouts.
Well, part of the results of the operations being carried out by members of the different law enforcement agencies near the state lines of Nuevo León and Coahuila, have resulted in the apprehension of several people who were found traveling there with what appears to be caltrops.
There have been attacks on security units with these types of objects. Rcently one was registered and this resulted in the arrest of some people who were trying to prevent police officers from traveling on the dirt roads bordering the state of Coahuila.
It’s important to note that these events take place several kilometers from municipal seats. In this case, the closest one is in the municipality of Hidalgo, it wasn’t in the urban area, but rather in the rural areas where these kinds of confrontations take place.
There were several crimes they were accused of. Well, it’s possession of narcotic substances, as well as the use of tire spikes to prevent the passage or transit of security vehicles in that area.
There are no more people involved in this case. Four people have been arrested. Additionally, yesterday three more people were arrested for similar offenses.
